Tweet a Child to Breakfast
Your Inspirationally Canadian experience starts at 999 Canada Place in Vancouver. Look for the white sails!
For 2012 along our outdoor promenade and throughout the city, Canada Place brought families the best in Christmas cheer – all in support of Strathcona Community Centre's Food Security for Children Program. Christmas at Canada Place had something for everyone:
At Canada Place you found the magical Christmas Trail including five of the Woodward’s Windows displays, an avenue of decorated Christmas trees, The Christmas Workshop, Sails of Light, beautiful decor and more.
The Christmas Workshop was a beautifully decorated outdoor tent featuring festive craft activities by Create A Craft Events, seasonal storytelling by Pangaea Arts, face painting by Marie-Helene Babin, complimentary hot chocolate, and more.
Christmas at Canada Place proceeds were donated to Strathcona Community Centre's Food Security for Children, an essential program that helps to feed children on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Canada Place collected donations onsite to help raise funds and awareness for our longstanding partner.
Port Metro Vancouver wants your help to bring children from the Strathcona Community Centre to Breakfast with Santa. You can help. For every 10 retweets of our holiday message, PMV will host of child at Breakfast with Santa at Canada Place on December 15th.
Christmas at Canada Place is back for its 25th year. Look no further for free family activities in Vancouver, BC, Canadian entertainment and the best of Christmas past and present. Full details and hours here!
